or search for myspace layouts on google. they will show you what a preview of your myspace could look like. when you see one that you like...you can get a code from them that you will paste in your about me section. then your myspace is transformed into what the preview looked like!

I'm not sure about the first part of your question, as I have honestly never seen or heard of this done, and I've been with Myspace forever. However, as for the second part of your question, your page will only load as fast as all the **** you put on it. So if you have tons of images and videos and lots of things like that, it's going to take a lot longer to load than a page that's more simplistic.
